Conservation Programs
TDA The Agricultural Resources Conservation Fund (ARC Fund) is a Tennessee Department of Agriculture Program and is available to landowners to assist in the implementation of Best Management practices to improve water quality.
ACEP The Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP) consolidates three former programs - the Wetlands Reserve Program, Grassland Reserve Program and the Farm and Ranch Land Protection Program.
CRP The Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) offers incentives to private landowners to protect highly erodible and environmentally sensitive cropland by planting trees, grasses and other long term cover. Additional goals are to improve water quality and wildlife habitat.
CSP The Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) encourages producers to adopt new conservation practices, as well as maintain and enhance their existing conservation practices. Potential applicants can determine if this program is right for them by completing the CSP self-screening checklist.
EQIP The Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) offers financial and technical assistance for installation of eligible conservation practices.
